Wu's method and its application to perspective viewing

摘要

An algebraic method for proving a class of geometry theorems recently proposed by Wu is informally discussed. Key concepts relevant to the method are explained. An application of this method to perspective viewing in image understanding is discussed. Finally, it is outlined how the method can be helpful to prove geometry theorems involving inequalities to capture the relation of a point being in between two given points. This is also illustrated using an example from image understanding.
