Analysis of image deformation under orthographic projection and flow parameter estimation

摘要

The image of an object under orthographic projection changes with time when the object is moving and rotating. These image changes, as we call the image deformation process, play an important role in the estimation of flow parameters, which is essential in the determination of motion and structure parameters. We analyze the deformation process of a 2-D optical image, from which a simple way of calculating flow parameters is suggested.
