Determining camera parameters from the perspective projection of a quadrilateral

In this paper we show that there is sufficient information in the two-dimensional perspective projection of an arbitrary quadrilateral of known shape and size in three-space to determine the exact three-dimensional coordinates of its vertices, generalizing known results for rectangles. Implementation results are also discussed.
