Fuzzy integration of classification results

This paper attempts to solve the problem of integrating classification results in a multiple classifier system using fuzzy reasoning. We present three fuzzy classification result integration algorithms covering all forms of classification output. We describe algorithms to model classification results and to reason about the unique output result from all types of classification results. The proposed algorithms were implemented and tested through experiments on a training and test data set of handwritten digits cropped from U.S. postal mail pieces.
