Linear feature selection with applications

摘要

This paper selectively surveys contributions in linear feature selection which have been developed for the analysis of multipass LANDSAT data in conjunction with the Large Area Crop Inventory Experiment. Most of the results surveyed have been obtained since early 1973 and have applications outside of satellite remote sensing. A few of the theoretical results and associated computational techniques have appeared either in journal articles or in proceedings of technical symposia. However, most of these contributions appear only in scattered contract reports and are not generally known by the scientific community.
