Single-link characteristics of a mode-seeking clustering algorithm

摘要

This paper demonstrates the similarity between the single-link clustering method and a recently proposed clustering method based on mode-seeking. A user of clustering algorithms should be aware of this fact when attempting to assess clusters from different points of view.
