Stochastic syntax-directed translations in syntactic pattern processing

摘要

Stochastic context-free grammars are used in syntactic pattern processing to model sources of noise, ambiguity in pattern classes, and other random phenomena. Stochastic syntax-directed translation schemata take these concepts one step further by describing both the syntactic structure and the probabilities of grammar-based mappings between context-free languages.
