摘要
Quality inspection systems using binary methods have been applied to many simple problems with success.(1,2,3) Attempts have been made to develop adaptive threshold techniques to glean subtle features from grey level data.(4) Some interesting results have been obtained but as the images become more complex reliability suffers and grey level techniques become necessary.(5,6)This paper describes an application of functional approximation and syntactic analysis to the inspection of small blind holes in a metal casting.
