On the condition of singular boundary value problems

In this paper we derive estimates for the stability (condition) bounds of the boundary value problem with a singularity of the first kind. where a1, a0 ϵ R, B0, B1 are constant 2=2 matrices, ϵ is a constant 2-dimensional vector and F ϵ C. The estimates for the condition numbers of the continuous problem will be related to the stability bounds of a finite difference scheme based on the three-point discretizatio, applied for its numerical solution.
