Polynomial preconditioning on vector computers

摘要

This paper is concerned with the computation of the minimal eigenpair of the generalized eigenproblem with the preconditioned conjugate gradient method. The SSOR polynomial preconditioner and the additive polynomial preconditioner have been analyzed. The results of an extensive computer experimentation on Cray Y-MP are reported.
