Mixed convection-radiation interaction heat transfer in boundary-layer over a semi-infinite flat plate embedded in porous medium with a transfer magnetic field

The convection-radiation interaction heat transfer in boundary-layer flows over a semi-infinite flat plate in porous medium in the presence of a magnetic field is studied analytically. The conservation equations that govern the problem are reduced to a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations; these are solved numerically using the method of superposition for small values of ζx, the dimensionless first-order flow resistance due to the presence of the solid matrix. The influence of the various parameters entering into the problem on the velocity and heat transfer are studied.
