Integration of inelastic constitutive equations for constant velocity gradient with large rotation

An analytical solution is presented for the integration of elastic perfectly-plastic constitutive equations for finite strains and rotations with constant velocity gradients. Based on this exact solution, an approximate scheme is also proposed for the integration of elastic-plastic and elastic-viscoplastic constitutive equations with workhardening and noncoaxiality of the stress and the plastic strain rate tensors, using the plastic-predictor and elastic-corrector method proposed by Nemat-Nasser [1] to integrate the scalar equation for the stress magnitude (effective shear stress).
