A new approach to the nonlinear advection problem: An application of the decomposition method

In this paper, the nonlinear advection problem is solved easily and elegantly by using the Adomian's decomposition method. The exact solution is quickly obtained by observing the appearance of the self-canceling “noise” terms whose sum vanishes in the limit. Comparison with other existing techniques shows that the present approach is highly accurate.
