Aspects of thin-film polar fluid lubrication

摘要

The squeezing flow of polar fluids is analyzed using the method of successive approximations in an attempt to derive second approximations to the velocity field and the spin field. An expression for the resistance to motion is also derived and comparisons are made with the case of squeezing flow of Newtonian fluids.
