A numerical method for the solution of the Falkner-Skan Equation

We present a numerical method for the solution of the Falkner-Skan Equation. The method uses a coordinate transformation to convert the physical problem on a semi-infinite physical domain to a problem on a fixed computational domain. Then, after using a suitable change of variables, the third-order boundary value problem is solved using a shooting technique. The numerical solutions obtained by the present method are in agreement with those obtained by previous authors.
