New ideas for solving size-structured population models

摘要

The paper outlines new ideas for solving a class of models that describe the evolution of a size-structured population. The decomposition method to be presented avoids the cumbersome calculations of other approximation techniques. Some test models are investigated to illustrate the reliability and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
