Master-slave algebra: On the binary compositions of distributed beliefs

We consider two groups of agents ordered in two chains by relations for epistemic dependences. Every agent believes in the facts of the world and changes his belief in accordance with beliefs of his relatives. This system is two-level hierarchical where rules of doxastic evolution of one chain are controlled by the agents of another one. Via algebraic characterization of such a system, we show how hierarchical dependencies may influence the global evolution of distributed doxastic system.
