Finite element modelling of distribution problems

摘要

A direct solution for the distribution problem is given, being much more concise and efficient than those used at present. It is then shown that, with the constraint equations in the form used for this new method, basis transformation can be applied to them to obtain a simple finite element network model of the optimal distribution problem. More general FEM network and continuum models are then discussed, these having wide application in Engineering and Management Science.
