Transient thermal stresses in a spherically orthotropic elastic medium with spherical cavity

In this work, the thermal stresses of generalized thermoelasticity in a spherically orthotropic non-homogeneous solid continuum with a spherical cavity is studied. The material is elastic and has an inhomogeneity in the radial direction. In analyzing the problem, a solution for temperature, displacement and stress is obtained by using an integral transform technique. Numerical results are given and illustrated graphically.
