A higher-order method for stationary shock problems

An equidistant finite-difference method is proposed for quasilinear singularly perturbed boundary value problems. The method uses a combination of one sided schemes and a third-order three-point scheme. It is easy to implement and produces third-order accuracy away from shocks.
