摘要

A model for a concrete overlay structure using two beams with interface stiffnesses as unknown parameter is used to examine the inverse problem formulation. Using deformation and frequency data, probability density functions (p.d.f.'s) are constructed over a sample space consisting of interfacial stiffness coefficients. Estimators of interfacial parameters can be obtained as maximizers of these p.d.f.'s. Furthermore, the p.d.f.'s are used to assess likely performance under loading. Finally, a comparison is made to compare the information content for different finite element refinements when using deformation and frequency data to construct p.d.f.'s.
