Applications of the group of equations of the one-dimensional motion of a gas under the influence of monochromatic radiation

A consequent application of the machinery of Lie group analysis to the equation of the one-dimensional motion of a gas under the influence of monochromatic radiation leads to the general group classification of the absorption coefficient. Classes of the solutions depending very strongly on the absorption coefficient will be discovered and discussed for some cases of the plane and cylindrical symmetry.
