摘要

The instability of self-gravitating magnetized triple superposed fluids layers of different densities has been regarded crucial to the origin of the breaking-up of the fluids layers resulting in the appearance of condensation within astronomical bodies. This phenomenon also is of interest, academically and, during the geological drillings in the crust of the earth as we have superposed gas–oil layers-mixture fluids. The problem is formulated and the MHD self-gravitational basic equations are solved. Upon applicable suitable boundary conditions, the stability criterion is derived and discussed. By using the computer procedure for different values of the acting magnetic field and the ratios between the densities of the different triple layers, the stable and unstable regions are identified. Also the critical points which represent transitions from stability regions to those of instability in the unstable states, are exactly determined. The magnetic field has strong stabilizing influence, the densities ratios influences are stabilizing or not according to restrictions while the self-gravitational force has a tendency for stabilizing the model.
