Averages for solutions of nonlinear operators

摘要

The averages of nonzero solutions of second-order ordinary differential equation x″+f(x)=0, x(0)=x(T)=0 are obtained if f(x)∈C1(R,R) and uf(u)>0 for u≠0. Generalization to nonlinear operators is also obtained.
