Oscillation criteria for second-order linear difference equations

In this paper, some new oscillation criteria are obtained for the second-order linear difference equationΔ2xn−1+pnxn=0,n=0,1,2,…,where Δxn=xn+1−xn is the forward difference operator, {pn} is a sequence of nonnegative real numbers. Our results improve the know results in the literature. And an example is given to demonstrate the advantage of our results.
