Group classification of three-dimensional boundary layer equations of a class of non-Newtonian fluids in which thee stress is an arbitrary function of rates of strain is made. Group classification of the equations with respect to shear stress is done by using equivalence transformations. Special cases such as arbitrary stress, Newtonian fluids and power-law fluids are treated.
