Some numerical results on a convex nonlinear elliptic problem

摘要

This paper deals with a class of quasilinear elliptic Dirichlet boundary value problem of type −Δu = λ(1 + u)q, where the effect of the superlinear term allows us to find some results about the existence and multiplicity of numerical positive solutions for varying λ > 0 and q > 1 by using finite difference method and we compare the obtained solutions with each other.
