A one-parameter family of quadratically convergent iteration formulae

摘要

A new one-parameter family of iteration methods for solving nonlinear equations is presented. The convergence analysis shows that their order of convergence is two. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the efficiency and performance of the proposed methods.
