On the distribution of Ma and King

摘要

Ma and King [N.-Y. Ma, R.P. King, The n-fold convolution of generalized exponential–sum distribution functions, Applied Mathematics and Computation 142 (2003) 23–33] derived expressions for the n fold convolution of generalized exponential–sum distribution functions. In this Comment, I provide much simpler expressions and much shorter derivations for the same.
