Singular integral equations arising in draining and coating flows

摘要

We present a very general existence theorem for a nonlinear singular integral equation using the Schauder–Tychonoff fixed point theorem. Our result automatically guarantees the existence of a positive solution to a problem arising in draining and coating flows.
