Remarks on oscillation of second-order linear difference equation

In this remark, we shall show that the Lemma 1 and parts of the proof of Theorem 1 in the paper “Oscillation criteria for second-order linear difference equations” (Applied Mathematics and Computation 145 (2003) 591–601) are incorrect.
