Rhoades type fixed point theorems for two hybrid pairs of mappings in metrically convex spaces

摘要

The present paper establishes some common fixed point theorems for two hybrid pairs of nonself mappings defined on a closed subset of a metrically convex metric spaces, which generalizes completely or partially some earlier results due to Rhoades, Ćirić and Ume and many others. Some related results and an illustrative example are also discussed.
