Extended dissipativity-based control for persistent dwell-time switched singularly perturbed systems and its application to electronic circuits

Highlights:
• The addressed problem is new in the sense that both persistent dwell-time switching mechanism and extended dissipative performance are considered in the discrete-time singularly perturbed systems at the first attempt.
• By adopting an ε-dependent non-monotonic Lyapunov function approach and a new slack matrix technique, a set of sufficient conditions with less conservatism are obtained in the form of linear matrix inequalities.
• Based on the derived criteria, a mode-dependent slow state variables feedback controller is obtained, which can guarantee that the closed-loop system is exponentially stable and extended dissipative performance.
• In the simulation, we have illustrated that the increasing of sampling instant decay rate or decreasing of switching instant variation rate can improve the system performance.
