• The temperature-dependent switchable properties are employed to construct intelligent thermal metadevices with diamond shapes.
• Switchable thermal concentrating effects of different intelligent concentrators could be switched on (or off) automatically at different temperature intervals.
• The temperature-dependent switchable thermal cloaks are only functioning at high (or low) temperature interval, and the switching effects will be automatically turned off as the temperature changes.
• The path-dependent switchable device intelligently possesses the x-directional concentrating and y-directional cloaking functions at specific temperature interval, simultaneously.
