Event-triggered control for switched singular systems with asynchronous switching and state jumps

Highlights:
• Firstly, the event-triggered control issue for switched singular systems with asynchronous switching and state jumps is studied. Some new sufficient conditions in terms of LMIs are obtained by using matrix decoupling techniques.
• Secondly, different from the previous literature, the ETC problem for the SSS considered in this work is more general. Asynchronous switching behavior and state jumps are considered simultaneously. When the system states are unmeasurable, the observer-based ETC is also taken into account. In addition, Zeno phenomena in switching and sampling are excluded.
• Thirdly, a modified consistency projector is constructed, which can describe how inconsistent initial values jump to consistent values in the switched singular systems. In addition, the stability conditions are on the basis of the original system, which is more conducive to the controller design compared to the conditions based on the dynamic decomposition form in the previous literature. At the same time, the introduction of free matrix effectively avoids the contradiction of asynchronous controller design.
