Estimation of flexural rigidity in a Kirchhoff plate model

摘要

In this paper the flexural rigidity for a Kirchhoff plate model with pure bending only is estimated using a regularized output least squares technique. The regularity properties possessed by the optimal estimators are obtained. Using these properties, an approximation theory is developed. Numerical examples are presented.
