On the crowding of parameters associated with Schwarz-Christoffel transformations

We study the relationship between the normalization of Schwarz-Christoffel maps and the crowding of various accessory parameters. We present a priori estimates for accessory parameters and briefly review methods of solving the parameter problem for the Schwarz-Christoffel mapping.
