Expert systems for inventory control

摘要

The success and impact of current DSS remain rather limited within organizations. These limitations can be offset by integrating artificial intelligence into DSS. This paper presents briefly the possibility of combining DSS with expert system technology for management of inventories. An exemplary part of knowledge base for material disposition is described and some implementations of prototypes are discussed.
