摘要

The paper describes in outline an algorithm for the interpretation of segmentations of certain sorts of image. First it explains the motivations behind the approach and the techniques and tools employed. Second, it presents descriptions of the various knowledge structures involved and of the subroutines within the organization of the algorithm.
