Digital elevation model production by stereo-matching spot image-pairs: a comparison of algorithms

Three published stereo-matching algorithms have been implemented and tested on SPOT images of an area for which no accurate digital elevation model (DEM) is available with 30 m spacing. The paper presents the results of a comparison of stereo-matcher output with the DEM, and examines the errors arising and their causes.
