Improved rendering of the Lorenz equations

One of the classical paragons of the chaotic behaviour exhibited by a non-linear system is embodied by the Lorenz equations. This paper provides means to facilitate visualization of the complex nature of the underlying dynamical phenomenon. The resulting graphical outputs reveal intricate patterns, not accessible until recent times. Colour rendering improves interpretation of this complex underlying structure and, hence, our understanding of the system increases.
