Towards better information management

摘要

Information management is now a strategic issue in business. However, senior managers often find it difficult to deal with this aspect alongside others, or to apply the relevant academic work. This paper describes a method which has been found useful for presenting the subject to general managers, and suggests reasons for its success. The size of the management education task in the UK is considered, and the role that information systems will play in its future development.
