Current issues in information management — Update

This paper updates an earlier survey in which practising managers identified the most challenging current issues of information management. The original data covered 268 managers during the period May 1987 to June 1988. The new data cover 401 managers during the period February to November 1989. The changes are analysed statistically. The aggregated data give greater confidence in the earlier survey and identify some shift of emphasis over the two-year period.
