Intradepartmental information management: Maximizing publication opportunities

Publication is central to individual careers and the survival of departments. Information management within a department can maximize publication opportunities, yet this seems rarely to have been considered. The authors describe the setting up, use and maintenance of a simple and comprehensive system for sharing information about publication.
