Computer utilization in Jordanian industrial companies

摘要

This study aimed at developing an understanding of several issues related to computer utilization in Jordanian industrial companies. The sample of the study was composed of 41 companies. The research indicates the majority of companies use computers in their premises, computer usage varying according to organizational size. The major advantages of using the computer were: speed; accuracy; cost reduction; storage and retrieval capability; and performance of complex operations.
