Strategic information systems planning workshops: Lessons from three cases

The role of workshops in the process of integrating information systems strategy formulation and business strategy is examined, as are the roles of facilitators and participants in the process. Three cases that combine both successful and unsuccessful features are reviewed, and conclusions are drawn regarding improved practice and further research.
