Towards effective information management: A view from Ghana

摘要

Considering the current exponential growth rate in the volume of information produced worldwide, it requires the combination of effective handling techniques and good managerial approach to organize this vital resource to the advantage of the corporation. Recent technological developments have had a profound impact on information resources management. The paper examines some of these developments vis-à-vis measures that could be put in place to ensure effective information management in the corporate environment.
