Information systems with attribute decomposition

摘要

In this paper we present a model of decomposition of an information system. We discuss some properties of this model and try to determine how to decompose the system and what are the time-effects of such a decomposition.A practical model of information system decomposition as well as the results obtained for such an implemented system have been given here. This system has been designed for an ODRA 1325 (ICL 1903) computer. The measurements executed in this system make it possible to estimate the influence of the decomposition of a system on the retrieval time in such a system.
