A boundary integral method applied to a convection–diffusion problem

A singular perturbed convection–diffusion problem on polygons is considered. Several boundary integral equations are used for the numerical approximation of the problem. An estimate for the single-layer integral operator in dependence of the perturbation parameter is obtained. The convergence of Galerkin and of Galerkin–Petrov schemes are discussed. Numerical results are presented.
