Error estimation with guaranteed accuracy of finite element method in nonconvex polygonal domains

A new method to estimate errors of the finite element method (FEM) for nonconvex polygonal domain is proposed. It gives mathematically rigorous upper bounds for the errors using calculations with guaranteed accuracy. Numerical examples are shown and their orders concerning mesh sizes are compared with theoretical orders.
